Abstract:

The workshop presents the application of clinical hypnosis, Ego State Therapy and Somatic Experiencing techniques. The participants will learn how to activate resourceful and symptomatic ego states and how to use pendulation between them. They will have an opportunity to experience the soothing process of self-regulation which expands ability to tolerate and deal with unpleasant body symptoms. The participants will also learn by experience how to befriend with their bodies and sensations of it. We will concentrate on the language of sensations instead of emotions to enhance the efficiency of healing process. In terms of ericksonian trance phenomena, work on the association-dissociation dimension will be demonstrated.
