Abstract:

Everyone has at least one favorite story about hypnosis. It may be a story of a great success or a spectacular failure. It may be about a surprise outcome or a lucky discovery. This workshop will share video interviews of some of the great clinicians and researchers in hypnosis as they tell their favorite stories in their own words. From Ericka Fromm to Herb Spiegel, Peter Bloom, Eva Banyai, Dabney Ewin, Gary Elkins, Peter Naish, Harold Crasilneck, Michael Yapko, Jeff Zieg, Claire Frederick, Cory Hammond, Sheryll Danial and many more, each offering a favorite story or piece of wisdom that they allowed to be videotaped and shared. Each attendee to this workshop is also likely to have a favorite story and hopefully we can share and learn from each other in a world-wide collaboration!

Dr. Eric K Willmarth is a clinical psychologist from the United States and is a past-president of both the American Society of Clinical Hypnosis and the Society for Clinical and Experimental Hypnosis. He has collected video interviews from hypnosis conferences for over 30 years.
