Abstract:

Induction is generally considered as the procedure aimed at obtaining the trance state, and frequently compared to the anesthesia that allows the surgery. A more careful consideration helps the clinician to give to the inductive intervention a more extensive value as a very meaningful part of the hypnotherapeutic process.

This workshop will train the participants to create naturalistic inductions that produce evocative effects and that can be tailored to the subject’s needs and resources.

Evocative inductions prepare, realize and amplify therapeutic interventions making them more rewarding and effective.

Learning Objectives

  1. To understand induction as a crucial aspect of the therapeutic process
  2. To learn how to build inductions inspired by the subject and containing special meanings in order to prepare therapeutic change
  3. To learn fifteen different forms of evocative inductions tailered on the subject requests and resources
