Abstract:

The speech presents the possibilities of utilising client’s „likes“ (favorite activities, hobbies) in solution-focused hypnotherapy. The use of „likes“ is inspired by the work of Rob McNeilly and enriched by authors own experience with the method. The paper will present some ways of linking a situation in which the client wishes some change („problem“) with situations of likes, where resources are manifested that can be used in such („problem“) situations. The presentation will be accompanied by examples from practice.
